I considered purchasing the folding chair bench and a hard bench like this one for my U9 soccer team. I read several reviews about the folding benches that the fabric commonly tears. Additionally, the folding benches that I was considering had "backs," which I did not want. I don't necessarily want my players leaning back and relaxing too much during the games. So, I was looking for the right value, something that would allow my players to sit up off the ground (in case the ground is wet or cold, and also because kids seem to stay more engaged when they're sitting up as opposed to sitting on the ground), and a product that would be durable/long-lasting. This bench checks all the boxes. It's not super light, but it's not super heavy either. I just weighed it and it came in at 17 lbs. The carrying handle is relatively comfortable as well. The rubber-coated strap helps. I can't recommend this bench enough for purposes similar to mine. It seems extremely well made and is very sturdy. One final note: it is relatively narrow and light. Therefore, it can tip forward or back without too much effort or if it's on uneven ground. I believe it has tipped over twice during our season, but it was not an issue and no kids were even close to getting injured. You won't regret buying this bench. Excellent value!

WOW! THIS BENCH IS AWESOME! IT SAT 4 ADULTS WITH NO PROBLEM AND IS THE RIGHT HIGHT FOR PUTTING WITH THOSE WHITE PLASTIC FOLDING TABELS. PERFACT!IT GOT HERE 3 DAYS EARLIER THAN WAS EXPECTED!

Soccer for my granddaughters works great

Bought this for bbq/picnics. Easy set up and clean up. Stores nicely because it doesn鈥檛 take up so much space like chairs do.
