I use this gate to keep my little dogs out of the living room. It is at the entrance of my house and looks very nice,the wood actually matches my furniture.

Fits very nicely into doorway without causing scratches on walls or baseboard. Expands to a very very nice length. Maneuverability excellent.
Our dog is a verified escape artist and this is the first gate of many that he was unable to manipulate to make a successful escape. This gate also keeps our walls looking great at it doesnt require any anchoring to a nearby wall. Definitely the best adjustable gate on Amazon at a very competitive price for the craftsmanship. Took me less than ten minutes to setup and I hate putting things together assembly for this product was no trouble at all aside from having to do it on your own because instructions where limited but honestly not needed at all very self explanatory assembly.

Very versatile and looks great!
I like this gate a lot. If I could change anything it would be the height of it. I didn't realize it was 21 inches tall. So far, my dogs haven't tried to jump over it. I wanted to block off the front door area because the dogs would rush the front door when we came in, and I was afraid they'd run out when we have a dog sitter over.
I gave it a score of 4 because the stabilizers that come with it don't fit all the way through the holes. I got some long bolts, washers and wingnuts to put in it for stabilization, and those worked. It's appeasing to the eye, nice color wood, and easy to put together.
My only suggestion would be to print the instructions about 50% larger to make the parts and placement easier to read.
We didn't buy this for a dog, we got it to keep our baby from climbing the stairs. Our stairs have a weird banister that made installing other baby gates impossible. We came across this and it works perfectly for us, we just set it in front of the stairs (at the bottom, would NOT recommend putting this at the top of the stairs since it's not wall mounted) and it prevents both the baby and dog from getting up. I like that it's easy to move around too so I can set it in front of a doorway if I want to keep him in a room with me.
You have to use some common sense for assembly. The included instructions are trash but if you lay all the pieces out and line up the notches for the hinges it makes sense. Took me about 25 minutes to put together. Looks nice and is pretty sturdy for my small dogs. And it's easy for us to step over.
