Warm Tips:

3. Use sandbag to secure the legs on each side, when rolling the cover up, to prevent it from trying to flip over.
4. The reel is very sturdy. Time will tell how well it last, but it definitely makes removing and covering the pool back a piece of cake.

Returns Policy

it's light weight but sturdy to use. we have covered the pool over the winter period and have had 60 miles per hour winds and the system was sturdy enough to hold, although some weights were needed. it is easy to roll on and off the cover easily.
Buy it. Wont be disappointed we have 14ft wide inground. And the length is adjustable I believe to 18ft; extremely easy to use. Easy to set up, when reeling just kind of guide the solar cover. I also use a Velcro strap that in place in the middle after reeling it up so the end of cover wont flap around when you get some wind.
Seems like good quality, only time will tell. If youre handy its easy to put together, no instructions needed. Good instructions are included though. I used the self tapping screws to connect tubes. Didnt use the small machine screws. I would use some blue loctite if I did use the machine screws. They might loosen and fall off easily. Comes in two boxes. I received mine in two separate days. Winds up easy and smooth. I did put a concrete block on the non wheeled side with a mat under it to keep it from moving around when winding it up.

Fairly easy setup for some one used to putting things together. So far works great on reeling in the solar cover on our pool that is 16 x 38
Some reviews said this would rust, mine is holding up fine !
Screw broke off the first day of use where you tighten to prevent unrolling. Very poorly attached. My husband was able to rig another way of tightening it, so it doesn't unroll, but this was barely attached to begin with, and the quality of workmanship was pretty low. The rest of the reel is great and works very well. The quality of the everything else with the reel is quite good, so this part breaking off so easily was disappointing.
I eas pleasantly surprised by the quality of this reel for the price. It went together easily and is surprisingly stable for being so light. I bought sand bags for extra stability but have not used them yet as it works well on our 16'x32' pool without them.
I would definetly recommend this product for use on in-ground pools of our size or below.( may be also good for larger pools but the sand bags may be necessary?)
This works great and not difficult to assemble. Arrived promptly.. Just made placing my pool cover on and off much easier.
