I bought this bridge to use as a ramp for my fianc. The apartments we live at put rocks as landscape in front of our patio making it impossible for my fianc to get out with his wheelchair. I havent put it outside yet but we have tested it inside and its very sturdy. It wasnt quite wide enough so I left out the three short boards that go by the posts and just spaced out the long ones throughout. Its now wide enough for a 24 inch wheelchair and we will be using it as an emergency escape ramp if needed.
For the cost, its great. After adding the supports, some paint...it looks great in my yard and I can actually walk on it.
We liked that it was easy to assemble. It looks amazing, and we are able to walk on it with no issues.
I'm very surprised how sturdy this bridge is once built, especially when it arrives in a box that only weighs 40 lbs. I love the dark stain and the bridge is fairly easy to put together.
Love this bridge!! We assembled it a little differently.Id highly recommend if your in the market for a garden bridge!!
This bridge came out just right! I got the unstained version as a family project to paint and assemble. Because the wood is more porous, it took a couple extra coats to get the perfect paint job, but it came out great! You do have to drill a majority of the screw holes, but this wasnt hard and made for a fun project. Great value for the money, and it feels very stable!
Love love love this bridge, it makes the yard look extra special especially for my german shepherd photos, we love talking photos on the bridge. It's also very nice and sturdy, i run on it without question and I'm 250 lbs
Love my bridge, definitely use a drill for the 160 plus screws. Looks super cute!!!
It was very easy to assemble even for me, a 44 year old woman who rarely uses a drill. I do suggest ignoring the directions a bit and first before putting any screws in, assemble the parts of the railing and line everything up with the base. Also be aware the rails have a curve to them and need to all go one way. I wasnt paying attention to that and noticed too late one was upside down. By then I decided not to take the whole thing apart again. Ill live with it. I may seal this with a clear coat. A lot of stain got on my hands while building it.
Honestly I like it so much I may get another one. My cat likes it a lot too.
