This wheel made it easy to wrap up our solar pool cover. Easy to put together and with the addition of the wheels, easy to mover around. Even my wife can use it with ease. We love it!
We ordered this solar cover pool reel thingy for our above ground pool's solar cover. We were aware that we needed to make some modifications in order to use it how we wanted to. We started out with some 4x4 post to get the height we needed and then we got some PVC piping and brackets and made a little stand for the solar cover reel to sit on and then installed it. It works perfectly for our needs!!! It takes up less space and our solar cover is ALWAYS clean and out of the way.
I am so glad we decided to order thing and fabricate it into how we needed to use it.
Item arrived fast! When I saw the box I was like "Oh no she's gonna want to put it together with me." Which if you're married you know that is an eggshell walk but to my surprise this was SUPER easy we were out by the pool smacking high fives! Something I really appreciate about the product is the quality of the components, you can feel the sturdiness as you get things in place and it really gave me peace of mind.
Diving board... so after we put it together we were like "Oh no it might not fit under the diving board!" but it does and it also does when the cover is rolled up, we still have space which was a relief... after all we put it together without arguing so didn't want to take an L on the diving board. Great purchase!
I have a unique shaped pool and I was worried that this wasn't going to work well, but I was wrong. It was easy to put together, the hardest thing is getting the snaps through the solar cover, but once they're in, they're not coming out. Just make sure you have them lined up with the straps before you snap them in or when you roll it up, it's going to be hard and the cover will look a mess. But I definitely recommend this item.

I'll update this once our cover arrives undamaged. Easy to assemble EXCEPT there are additional screws you must drill to install for the extra support. I'll have my husband drill so I don't bend the metal somehow. Hope the rubber on the wheel doesn't get sticky over time. Seems also that you WILL need a sandbag to anchor the non-wheeled side to avoid it landing in the pool. Much better than what we currently have.
