We ordered chairs from another vendor, and they were too small for a living room, but these are excellent. They are very strong and roomy and are a great place to lounge while watching TV.
I read the reviews before purchasing this chair, and I almost decided not to purchase because of the comments about how difficult it was to assemble. My husband and I put the chair together in about 30 minutes. It was easy to do following the provided instructions. When I sat on it, I felt the rigid base, but this is before I gave it a chance to get to its final shape. The cushions are vacuum sealed and puff up once the plastic is cut. NOTE: Don't cut the plastic until the chair is assembled with no problems! Make sure all your pieces fit together. Once you cut the cushions open, you cannot return the chair. (There are bright orange stickers on the cushions that say this.) We rated the chair a bit lower on comfort, but it's perfect for the little room it's in. We recommend purchasing this chair!
I was actually really surprised with the quality and comfort of this chair for the price. I purchased a different reclining chair from Amazon and sent it back because it was so uncomfortable. This actually feels sturdy and it will be a perfect spot to curl up with a blanket I also bought on Amazon.. I normally dont write reviews but I read so many reviews when shopping for this chair, I wanted to provide my own honest feedback to help others.
I did have one issue where the stitching looks like its coming a little loose on the back pillow, but Amazon was very helpful with me in coming to an acceptable solution.
