This bed is for my 4 year old. 1. The bed does come in two boxes, you will not receive a tracking number for the 2nd box. Ours only came a day apart from each other. 2. Two of us put this together and it took about 3 hours. It helps to have another set of eyes looking/reading the instructions. My husband likes to look at the pictures only, but there was some key info in the written part (such as not tightening things until other things are in place) 4. We did not end up with the ladder backwards, nor did that part seem that unclear to me. 5. When my son rolls around on top, yes the bed frame does move some. 6. I can lay with my son on the bottom bunk to get him to sleep just fine and there is little movement from the frame (I'm 220lbs and he's 40lbs). 7. I have an 8 inch mattress on top and a 13 inch mattress on the bottom (go a little smaller if you want more sit up room). Overall I'm happy with it

This really helped maximize our son's bedroom space. And the price was really good (it was on sale). My husband was able to make it in a few hours. Its a metal bed frame so the ladder steps are kinda hard on the feet but cutting pool noodles to fit helps solve that it. Saving this brand for when I need a bunk bed for my other kids.

Chose this bed since one of few bunk beds that have flat rungs to climb. My 8 and 5 year old boys LOVE their new bed. I wouldn’t say it’s 100% wobble free, but feels very safe and for the price, I would definitely buy again.

I received a wrong part and while I was able to fix the issue with a drill and a quick run to the home improvement store, the seller remedied the situation quickly and very satisfactorily. I was also missing a few of the plastic pieces for the rungs but they were sent to me quickly as well.

The price and sturdiness of this bunkbed makes it a good buy. My 3 year old and 8 year old grandchildren love it. I took my son in law and I 4 hours to tear down and discard the old furniture and build the new. 5 stars.

Great bed at a great price, sturdy, sleek clean lines, good height (not too high for 8’ ceilings). The best thing about this bed are the FLAT ladder rungs. Anyone who has tried to climb a bunk bed on round ladder rungs will tell you that it really kills the feet, and flat rungs are a simple design improvement that makes all the difference. I don’t even know why humanity has not evolved fast enough to eliminate all bunk beds with round ladder rungs - it’s that much of a no-brainer. I can’t speak for wooden beds, but if you are considering a metal bed, do not buy one with round ladder rungs, and this frankly might be your only choice with flat ones. It is worth it for that alone.
The only negative about this bed is if you want to avoid days (and I mean days) of pain and agony and tears and meltdowns, pay very close attention to the holes in the diagrams in the instructions. My family members had to take the bed apart THREE times and start over from scratch because three times they ended up at the very end with the holes in the wrong direction, and fixing it meant disassembling the whole thing. Also the cross bars are a huge pain to put into the sideboards without them all falling out. My son called putting this bed together a “modern day torture device.” I think most of the pain could have been avoided, ahem, by reading the directions CLOSELY. So if you’re the kind of person who just looks at the diagram and then thinks you know what to do and doesn’t look at it again until you get to the end, you may find yourself undoing and redoing all the steps multiple times. But if you survive the assembly, it’s a really nice bed.
