I feel there should have been another part that would thread into the smaller threaded inlet and outlet parts and that would be coned to increase for the fit of the standard hoses that are normally with the pools. The instructions didnt state that there is a possibility your hose would pop off when using your hose increaser and also that the clamps could puncture holes in the provided hose that will have dripping occur. Now I have to go to the hardware store/Home Depot and try to rig a part together to provide guaranteed no failures and guarantee no hoses from falling off causing loss of water in the pool and possibly burning up your pool pump.
I have not been able to hook it up yet. Waiting for assistance from a neighbor. Did this unit come with a bye-pass ??
I have used many different pool heaters and this one has been the best so far. This type of heater is designed to heat the entire pool.
It was missing one of the hose connectors. Waiting for it to be shipped to me.
I bought 2 for my above ground, they keep the water warm I am very happy with it.
Helps more then no heater at all . Think it would take 2 for for a good heating. But over-all , good product .
It is a nice heater but plan to invest a little more. The hoses are cheap so when they got hot they were leaking like little pin holes formed and it was spraying.
I was skeptical with the heating power of this item. It surprised me in a very good way. Easy to assemble gave me about 9 degrees in Florida weather is hot early this thing got us in the pool even sooner. Very sturdy construction good if you have dogs the can't walk all over it like some of the mat heaters
