I use ladders every day. These telescoping ladders get better and better, this one is very easy to use, and safe.
I was skeptical but my husband used this to install some cameras from the roof and it was very sturdy. Having it all collapse down to pack away was very cool. You just press a button on the bottom and the sides depressurize and folds down. Kinda neat.
My camp trailer is not very tall, so the 6.5 foot tall is just the right size for me to reach on top. And it doesn't take much space in the vehicle.
This is my go to ladder for the attic. We have that hole in the ceiling (push up a square of drywall wall) to access the attic. The hole is not compatible with a fold down attic ladder. This telescoping ladder works great and easy enough to carry up from the garage.
It is way better than lugging a full sized ladder on camping trips. It is light weight, extends quickly and easily and is sturdy when in use. (Do exercise care when collapsing. You will only pinch a finger once!)
I recommend getting one that is at least 2 taller than your RV. Makes it so much easier (and safer) to get on/off the roof.
When I first got this Ladder I was frustrated trying to open it. The upper steps were auto locking as I raised them. When I had it raised to the height I wanted it would slide back down. I requested to return and refund from the seller.
The seller contacted me asking me to try opening Ladder all the way. I tried to open it to intermediate height instead. I finally got the ladder to stay raised and could go up the ladder. I cancelled my refund request. It is not hard to open once you understaND how the Step locks work. The bottom Locks keep the Ladder extended.
I love it
This replacement works great!
I use it around the house and also camping wit our RTT.
Fairly sturdy. Only issue I have had was closing / collapsing the ladder.
they close really fast and just be careful with your fingers when putting it away.
Works great for what I use it for.
Just got it today, super light, compact and sturdy. I will post an update in a few months.
