Purchased with the roller to add extra pulls and less stress on the solar cover. I only needed a few extra so now I have backups I can use if I need to replace a strap in the future. Good quality fir the price

Finally replaced our old one and wish wed done it sooner. ?Rolls well and sits higher than the old when, which works well over the diving board.

Awesome reel cover. Makes opening and closing the pool daily easy.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:
Great product for above ground pool. Be sure you know it comes in two boxes and may have to wait for the other box to ship. Excellent and hard working reel for heavy cover.?

The second box with the rails came 3 days after the first box. Directions were fair. Pictures could be a little clearer with reference to the straps as to if the loose portion of the strap would be on top when rolling or on the bottom. Also, perhaps indicating if the bubbles are rolled underneath or on top. Still need to evaluate ease of pulling (unrolling) cover from the roller.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:
The price of this product is very good. ?I have an above ground 16X32 pool and a beautiful country view. ?I did not want to ruin my view with a solar cover reel so I purchased this one for an in ground pool. ?It works really well and turns very easily. ?I did have to make sure I cut the cover to the exact size or it bunched on the reel and made it difficult to turn. ?After the cover was cut, the reel pulled it easily over the side of the pool and right onto the reel. ?Also, the reel has wheels so I can pull it away from the pool as needed when I walk around the outside with the hand skimmer or vacuum. ?Im only giving it four stars because the base should be a little heavier. ?When Im pulling the cover off of the pool, the base sometimes lifts up a bit. ?Ive fixed this by putting my foot on the base, but it could be remedied if they made it just a bit heavier. ?

Since this is made from aluminum, it should last for years!

Good product at a good price, great service. My hand wheel got beat down by the AZ sun and they sent a replacement. Very easy to put together, I did swap the provided screws with actual rivets since the screws left it a bit wobbly.

I purchased the 18-foot VINGLI Pool Cover Reel Set for my 14-foot inground pool, and I couldn't be happier with the result. Even though the reel is designed for up to 18 feet, the adjustable inner tubes allow you to shorten it so the ends touch, creating a snug 14-foot fit. That design actually makes the reel more sturdy, which is exactly what I needed.

The main reason I chose this model was that I upgraded to a 16-mil solar cover, which is significantly heavier than my previous one. I wanted a reel that could handle the extra weight without bending or straining, and this one delivers. The aluminum construction feels solid and durable, and the entire setup has a quality feel.

Installation was straightforward, and once assembled, the reel operates smoothly. Rolling and unrolling the cover is now a quick and easy job C no more dragging a heavy cover by hand.
The self tapping screws worked perfectly. I thought I was going to have to drill pilot holes, but the provided screws were actually great. Although I did not try this, I would not have put this together with the #14 'pressure screws. Use the #15 self tapping screws.
I can roll and unroll without the use of sandbags!

Highly recommend this product if you're looking for a strong, well-built pool reel that can handle heavier covers and offers great adjustability for different pool sizes.

Looks great and is easy to put together. 18x36 rectangle pool, now a one man job to put cover on and off. Well worth the money. If durability is good it is a must buy!
