Awesome gate for wide doorways. I can block off the rest of my house from my dogs. When they come in from outside with dirty paws. Made good and strong.
Sturdy and our dog cant push it open like the other freestanding gates.
We didn't buy this for a dog, we got it to keep our baby from climbing the stairs. Our stairs have a weird banister that made installing other baby gates impossible. We came across this and it works perfectly for us, we just set it in front of the stairs (at the bottom, would NOT recommend putting this at the top of the stairs since it's not wall mounted) and it prevents both the baby and dog from getting up. I like that it's easy to move around too so I can set it in front of a doorway if I want to keep him in a room with me.
High quality gate I would buy again
High quality sturdy animal gate. Needed for older dog to keep them from going upstairs. Tall enough to deter dog but short enough to easily step over. Adjustable width and sides to fit in various spaces. Very easy to assemble.
We have a split level home and struggled to find a baby gate that would work across the opening at the top of our stairs. This was the perfect solution as most gates wouldn't cover the wall to railing setup too well. This is easy to move, looks nice and is effective at keeping my toddler from falling down the stairs!
